"This genuinely was one of the first ideas I ever recorded when I started making music. I made it such a long time ago on a laptop that corrupted files almost immediately. That forced me to upload the first version of the song because I had no other choice.  I couldn’t even use the attempted master file my engineer tried to construct.

We flew to St. Vincent to shoot the music video and attaining the budget for that was solely God’s grace.  It was when 646yf4t and I were working on our the second song on God Dreams, “A king”.

In the name of degeneracy, we drank, smoked and bet on sports game to relieve the creative process.  BlackJack had started to become a muse. We used to combine our money and play to split any profit. Rarely victorious we had to rationalize that that was just the cost of entertainment.  A night of sour gambling turned triumphant when Zach (646yf4t), unbeknownst to me, loaded $100 into his account and played through the night.  He turned $100 to $13k and kept his word. That’s how I ended up on a row boat in the Caribbean Sea. From BlackJack."
